Overview

Groups/ organizations/ individuals are allowed to visit the jails for social, educational, health, welfare and research purposes.  The application for visiting the jails must be submitted to Inspector General of Prisons, Assam. 

Guidelines for filling the form

Application in proper letterhead should be submitted to Assam Prison Headquarters, Khanapara, Guwahati for granting permission to visit the Jails.
