The department had participated in IITF-2016 held in November 2016. The products displayed in the IITF-2016 were highly appreciated by the visitors and won the best prize for quality products among all the states in Assam Pavilion.
On 25-01-2021, Inspector General of Prisons, Assam had formally inaugurated the Sale Outlet of products of Assam Prisons which is a step forward making Assam Jails as a correctional home and Branding and Marketing of prison goods to enhance demand and supply to increase revenue.
